Ernesto Cruz

2 Pioneer Cdj 800s, 2 Technic 1200 mk2, Pioneer djm 600 mixer, 1 Mackie SRm 450 monitor, Rane Serato SL Wow thats a good question. At the moment tracks by Afrojack, Wolfgang Gartner, David Guetta, FatBoy Sime, Fedde le Grand, Lazy Rich, Bingo Players, Bad Boy Bill, DeadMau5, Rolvaro, Chuckie, Benny Bennasi & Many more hott tracks! Ernesto started he's dj career rocking local house parties around the southbay in the Mid 90's. After recieving much praise from party goers (even shutin down a party or two due to capacity) and ambition to take things to the next level he landed a job at San Jose's infamous "Hit Factory" were he made the connections that thrusted he's skills into the club & underground house scene. After his reputation for dropin cuttin edge tracks grew, he was offered a position as music consultant for Chicago's Ammo Recordings, aiding in selecting some of the labels biggest releases. He also was behind the scene's helping with music direction for some of "Wild 9.49's House Nation's" biggest resident dj's at the time. Choosin some of the shows most recongnized hits. Since ;spending the past few years as a staple in the Bay Area House scene, playin clubs & events from Los Angeles to San Francisco such as guest spots at Electric Daisy Carnival, Love Parade SF, Still Dream, House Nation, 1015 Folsom, The Endup, Hot Import Nights, The Vault, Cardiff, Agenda, Pearl, Cabana, Scores, Cuccini's, Blue Tattoo, Taste, Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge, & currently holding his own event for the past four years at one of the Southbay's premier House Lounges, Blowfish which plays host to "Mixture" every fourth Friday and brings in some the West Coast biggest talents. Through ;years of hard work and continous dedication he reunited with long time friend, fellow label mate, & resident dj of Zapatistas SF, "Switchblade". Who incidentally was one of the first to give him his start in the underground scene in early 2000's.The Crew has come full circle since the early 2000's when Zapatistas was originally created. Now back and better than ever, they have come together to help build and take the Zapatistas past legacy to the next level. Along with the additon of "Shut yo Mouth Records" set to release tracks this year (with fellow label mate and resident dj Robert Oritz, the trio are currently in the studio working on tracks set to be released in 2010) and are looking to take the music & events above & beyond expectations of all party goers. After a long road that spans over a decade of music and dedications to pursuing his passion of spreading good beats to make people move their feet, Ernesto knows the journey has only just begun! Not one to give up or be discouraged by the ups and downs of pursuing ones dreams, he's determined now more than ever to bring people together through the power and unity that music creates and to share his groove with the world! "House truly is a feelin that cant be explained, it has to be felt". Stay tuned, this is only the begining of bigger & better things to come! ; So many to mention from all generes. I'm just love all music, ispiration can come from anywhere..
